Dear Big Bear Lodge Customers,

Thank you very much for your interest in Poker at the Big Bear Lodge. This is more information in regards to the closing of the Big Bear Lodge effective Friday, February 15, 2008, following tonights games.

Under the State of New Hampshire law that governs charitable gaming; each gaming day must be sponsored by a charity that meets the standards of the State Pari-Mutuel Commission. Today, Brookline Community Church is the last of the charities who have signed up at the Big Bear Lodge. You should know that we at NHCG and the building owner, Big Bear Lodge LLC, have worked very hard to find charities to fill in the gap; however, it was impossible. We are working to find more charities now to support the facility.
